gdiapers aloha

It was a HOT summer and early fall, so naturally Kai has been hanging out in his diapers quite a bit. And inevitably, I’ve posted some pictures of him in this state, which has prompted a lot of questions about our diapering choices. So for those of you who’ve asked, here’s the scoop.

We don’t cloth diaper. Wee use a combination of gDiapers and traditional disposable diapers.

We typically use the traditional disposable diapers for daycare because it’s a little more low-maintenance for our daycare provider.

But for a majority of the rest of the time, we use gDiapers, an eco-friendly disposable diaper company based in Portland, Oregon. Gdiapers is redefining what most people think of disposable diapers. Their diapers are sorta a hybrid of cloth and disposable, with a cute outside cotton pant and a disposable inside liner that’s flushable and compostable. It’s basically the perfect mix of being green-minded while keeping baby comfortable and completely adorable.

The covers come in all types of colors and prints (like the limited edition gAloha print pictured!). I think it makes changing diapers a bit more fun, which is great, because we change a lot of diapers nowdays! So there you go. Guerrero household diapering 101.
